It is with immeasurable sadness, the family of Todd Carbonaro announces his passing on Saturday, June 21st at the age of 53, unexpectedly. He was the son of the late Nicholas Carbonaro Sr. and Joan Kliner. He attended Mt. Anthony High School in Bennington and completed a wide array of college courses, furthering his knowledge & career in the automotive industry, becoming a master mechanic (ASE). From an early age Todd loved to fix anything mechanical, fueling his passion as an avid outdoorsman. He loved animals, hiking, camping, fishing, & kayaking with family & friends. Todd was a unique character with an infectious smile. His charisma couldn’t be replicated. His strong morals were backed by the warmth & tenderness about him, along with his faith. Todd was always willing to lend an ear, a hand, and sound advice. His expansive music collection mirrored his personality & hobbies. He was an extraordinary father & a strong mentor to others. Todd is survived by his son Michael Carbonaro of North Adam’s, MA. His former wife Kay Cahoon, siblings Debbie Rousseau Leeper, Rhonda Rousseau Frisina (Dan), Nicholas Carbonaro JR (Davi), longtime family friend Brad Dubis, & good friend Bertha Clayton. A celebration of life will be held July 10th 5-7pm at Hanson Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home. 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT.
