Sandra P. Frost, 87, of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington.
Sandra was born on November 15, 1938, in Bennington, Vermont, to Ralph and Barbara (Hulsberg) Parker. She grew up in Peru on the Bromley Farm, where she attended elementary school before graduating from Burr and Burton Seminary in 1957.
On April 15, 1958, Sandra married the love of her life, Doyle Frost. Together, they were lifelong residents of Manchester, where they raised their two daughters, Kim and Kathi.
Sandra was a devoted mother who spent many years as a stay-at-home mom, dedicating herself to raising her daughters and caring for her family. Later, she became a teacher's aide at Manchester Elementary School, where she enjoyed working with children and became a valued member of the school community. She eventually retired from MES after 33 years. She then dedicated 8 years to caring for her “adopted” grandson Carter “Jack” Lincourt, son of Robin Sirois and Scott Lincourt.
Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Barbara and Ralph; her husband, Doyle; her daughter, Kim; her sisters, Louise Wyman, Linda Bovey, and Marilyn Parker; and her brother, Henry (Hank) Parker.
Sandra is survived by her daughter, Kathi, and son-in-law, Donald Bierwirth; her most precious gift, her granddaughter, Lindsay (Glenn) Sherman; and her beloved great-grandsons, Hudson and Waylon Sherman, who brought her endless love and joy.
Sandra's greatest joy was her family. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, and cherished great-grandmother. Her family will forever treasure the love, memories, and special moments they shared with her.
A graveside committal service will be held at Ira Allen Cemetery in Sunderland, Vermont, on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 1:00, followed by a time of remembrance and celebration at the VFW Post 6471 in Manchester.
Donations in Sandra’s memory can be made to the Northshire Rescue Squad or the Vermont Veterans Home Activity Fund.
