Randolph Wise

Randolph T. Wise, 85, a resident of North Pownal Road, passed away May 30, 2018 at Albany Medical Center. Randolph was born in Westerly, RI on September 4, 1932 the son of the late George and Lulu Helms Wise and attended local schools. Randolph worked in management in the circuit board industry for many years. He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII and also volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 20 years and Senior Companion for the Counsel on Aging. Randolph was a member of the Narragansett Native American Tribe, the Masons in Connecticut and the American Legion in Pownal. He enjoyed woodworking and puttering around his home. He liked to travel, was an avid New York Yankee baseball fan, enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Randolph is survived by his wife Susan L. Tack Wise of Pownal whom he married in 1973 in Middletown, CT, his children Linda Perna of Virginia, Margaret Cart of Florida, Esther Loung of Florida, Donna Patchen of Florida, Kim Campbell of Maine, Audrey Wise of Connecticut, Penny Michaud of Connecticut, Karen Therrien of Rhode Island and Wesley Johnstone of Vermont, 27 Grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by hos son Merlin Johnstone. At he request of the family there are no formal funeral services. Interment will be private.
