Leona G Pickstone

Leona G. Pickstone, 91, a resident of Blackberry Lane and formerly of Arlington, VT passed away April 8, 2026 at SVMC in Bennington, VT. Leona was born in Hartford, CT on February 28, 1935 the daughter of the late Frederick and Lois (Tischofer) Peterson, attended local schools, graduating from Willimantic High School in Connecticut. Leona was a former member of the Rehabilitation Group at the hospital. She enjoyed her home, was an avid reader, enjoyed crafts and music and cherished times spent with her family. Leona is survived her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard D. Pickstone, whom she married in Calumet, Ill, her sister Joan Morse and brother-in-law Leroy Morse. Graveside funeral services for Leona will be held Friday April 17, 2026 at 11am in Ira Allen Cemetery in Sunderland, VT.
