Lawrence E Roberts

Lawrence E. Roberts, 73, a resident of Bowen Road, passed away February 12, 2022 at Albany Medical Center following a long illness. Lawrence was born in Rutland, VT on December 10, 1948 the son of the late Morris and Dorothy Roberts. He attended Poultney schools, graduating from Poultney High School and then earning his Bachelor Degree. Lawrence worked in maintenance for over 30 years at Southern Vermont College. He loved hunting, fishing and ice fishing. He was a member of the Green Mountain Boys and for 30 years was very involved participating in Revolutionary war re-enactments. Lawrence is survived by his wife of 45 years Dorothy Blockburger Roberts of Bennington and his sister Jean Felion. At the request of the family there are no formal funeral services at this time.
