Keegan Myles Campbell, 26 of Lincoln Street in Pownal passed away unexpectedly at his home on the evening of Thursday September 2, 2021. Keegan was born to Ericca Campbell-Burdick and John Brandi on July 23, 1995 in North Adams, MA. He was a graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School, Class of 2014. Keegan always enjoyed helping others, especially friends and family. This led him to become a volunteer firefighter with the Pownal Fire Department where he could help his community. He loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor, often playing jokes on people. He also enjoyed drawing, listening to music and watching anime. Keegan leaves his mother Ericca Burdick of Bennington, his dad Frank Burdick of Pownal, his biological father John Brandi of Bennington, sisters Carrigan Campbell-Moresi of Shaftsbury and Katherine Burdick of Bennington; grandparents Craig Campbell of Spartanburg, SC, Catherine Skorupski of Payson, AZ and Roxanne Burdick of Pownal; Aunt Janet Skorupski of Adams, MA , Uncle Myles Campbell of Mesa, AZ; close friends Anthony Maxon, AJ Osgood, Dylan Russell, Giovanni Davila and Ryan Cote. The family would like to thank Keegan’s friend Craig O'Dell and the rest of the Pownal Rescue Squad for their efforts. A Celebration of Keegan’s life will be held at the American Legion in Pownal on Friday September 10 at 5pm. Memorial gifts in his memory may be made to the Pownal Fire Department in care of the Hanson Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home, 213 West Main Street, Bennington, VT 05201.
