Juliette E Cassan

Juliette E. Cassan, 99, a resident of Bennington, VT, passed away September 10, 2025 at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington, Juliette was born in New York City on July 4, 1926 the daughter of the late Leon and Anna (Montavon) Marangoni, attended local schools and graduating from Washington Irving High School for Fine Arts and later the Pratt Institute for Art. Juliette’s first position upon graduating was at Women’s Wear Daily as a fashion illustrator. Juliette was an accomplished artist, loved to paint and enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children John Cassan of Bennington, Peter Cassan of Tennessee and Claudine Jellison (John) of Manhattan, NY, 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Sahe was preceded in death by her sister Yolanda Faiure who passed away in 1965. A celebration of life for Juliette will be held at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Benington, VT and will be announced at a later date. Interment will follow in Parklawn Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
