Jennifer Lake

Jennifer Lynn Lake, 50 of East Dorset, VT, passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 8, 2025. She was born in Bennington, VT on July 18, 1975, the daughter of Harry R. Ritcher and Patricia Innskeep. Jennifer married Toby Charles Lake on September 21, 1991.

Jennifer was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family meant everything to her especially her grandchildren who fondly referred to her as Nana. She was a very persistent woman, when she put her mind to doing something it got done. She enjoyed hanging around the pool with her family. Jennifer was a big fan of the 80’s, the big hair, jewelry and music, especially Bon Jovi and Cyndi Lauper. She was also an avid fan of the WWE.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Toby Charles Lake, of East Dorset, VT, her daughters; Shanna (Alex) Lake of Sandgate, VT and Areil (David) Shores of Mt. Tabor, VT, stepson Jeffery Anderson of Rutland, her grandchildren, Gauge, Madison, Ryder and Lexi and a brother, Bobby Richter of Bennington, VT. Funeral services for Jennifer will be held at Brewster Funeral Service, 34 Park Place, Manchester, VT 05255 on Saturday November 22, 2025 at 2:00 PM.
