Jean Mary Pinsonneault

Jean Mary Pinsonneault, 94, a resident of Union Street in Bennington, VT, passed away September 21, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. A lifelong resident of Bennington, Jean was born on June 30, 1931 the daughter of the late Harley Joseph and Ida (McLenithan) Barber. She attended local schools and graduated from Bennington High School. Jean worked for the Schmeltzer Corporation and Thompson Mill in Bennington. Jean also provided babysitting services in Bennington. She loved doing puzzles, enjoyed baking, knitting, shopping and cherished times spent with her grandchildren. Jean is survived by her children Stephen Robert Dennis and Timothy Pinsonneault (Jean) both of Bennington, Sharon Kniffen (David) of Greenwich, NY and Jean G.G. Pinsonneault (Brian) of Bennington and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Henry Pinsonneault who passed away August 14, 2024, her daughter Cynthia Rose who passed away in 2015 and her sister Doris Moore who passed away in 2020. Graveside funeral services for Jean will be Held Wednesday September 24, 2025 at 11am in White Chapel Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
