Jane E. Lackey

Jane E. Lackey, age 82, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida died Monday, May 11, 2015. Mrs. Lackey was born and raised in Wilmington, Vermont and graduated from Wilmington High School. She relocated to Florida in 2001 from Worcester, Vermont. Mrs. Lackey worked as a statistical analyst, and retired from National Life Insurance in Montpelier, Vermont. She enjoyed sky diving, traveling, motorcycling, and flying into Northern Quebec by bush planes to fish. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harold, Jr.; sons, Glenn Lackey of Georgetown, Idaho and Jay Lackey of Berlin, Vermont; sister, Linda Briggs of Indiana; brother Leland Cross of Loyalton, California; and three grandchildren.Memorial service will be determined at a later date.
