Gary Dix

Gary A. Dix, a resident of School Street in Whitingham, VT, passed away August 27, 2026 at Cheshire Medical Center. A lifelong resident, Gary was born in Whitingham on May 23, 1951 the son of the late Frank and Geneva (Bernard) Dix and graduated from Whitingham High School. Gary was self-employed and worked as a general contractor in the Whitingham area. Gary was a member of the Son’s of the American Legion and the Easy Riders Snowmobile Club. He enjoyed hunting, deep-sea fishing, snowmobiling and watching and following his grandchildren’s sporting events. Gary is survived by his life partner Jane Price, ten children, multiple grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren and brother Robert Dix. He was preceded in death by a child and brothers Frank, Dana, Richard and Douglas Dix. At the request there are no formal funeral services.
