Diane Marie King

Diane M. King was born on January 10, 1956, to Richard and Beverly King in Bennington, Vermont. She passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Arlington and Sunderland, Vermont, Diane always had her finger on the pulse of the towns she loved. She graduated from Arlington Memorial High School and was known for her strong work ethic and dedication throughout her life. Diane worked for many years at Mack Molding, and recently retired to enjoy time with her loved ones.

Diane had a deep love for lighthouses and the sea, a passion she shared with her late mother. Above all else, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured her family deeply.

She was predeceased by her father, Richard King; her mother, Beverly King; and her sister, Darlene Melvin.

Diane leaves behind her siblings, Deborah Mears, Ronald King, Donna Ennis, and Denise Mathieu; her lifelong partner, James Ennis; her children, Emily, Heidi, and Rebecca; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Torrie, Tanner, Codi, Isaiha, Anyiha, and Olivia; as well as nine great-grandchildren who will continue to carry her memory forward.

A celebration of life for Diane will be held Saturday June 13, 2026 from 11-1pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT.
