Danny R Briggs

Danny R. Briggs, 73, a resident of Barber Pond Road, passed away Sunday August 15, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Danny was born in Adams, Massachusetts on April 9, 1948 the son of the late Richard and Theresa Gazailler Briggs and attended Adams, Massachusetts schools. Danny worked as a server at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center for many years and previously worked for Carroll Cable. He enjoyed building model cars and gas powered airplanes. He also enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and watching old western movies. Danny is survived by his children, Bobbie Jo Briggs of Adams, MA, Diana Briggs Worth (Michael) of Florida, MA, Tommy Briggs of Maine and Danny Briggs of North Adams, his siblings Norman, Jimmy, Raymond, Joseph, Richard, Marcilla, Rose and Melissa, 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene (Ketchum) Briggs who died in 2020, brother Dan Briggs who died in 2010 and siblings Diane, Donna, Roger, Robert, Paul and George. At the request of the family there are no formal funeral services.
