Charles H Harriman “Chuck” 77 of Manchester VT passed away at Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland VT on November 30,2025 . Chuck was born in Rutland August 5, 1948 son of Chester and Virgina (McNulty) Harriman . Chuck married Cheryl Wyman “Sherry” on August 16, 1969 in Manchester .

Chuck had a passion for dirt modified racing owning many cars through the years working with very talented drivers and crews that he thought of as family, which is why he loved the sport so much . The highlight of his of his racing career was taking his beloved racecar to compete in the “biggest show on dirt “ Super Dirt Week in Syracuse NY . He used to always say “Dirt is for racing and asphalt is for getting there .”

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of over 56 years Cheryl Harriman of Manchester VT, his daughter Kimberlee (Jeff) Poczobut of Ira VT, his two granddaughters and light of his life Jessica and Rachel, and also his brother Thomas (Marlene) Harriman.

At Chuck’s request there will be no formal services, if family and friends desire they may make a contribution in Chucks memory to the Manchester Rescue Squad through the office of Brewster Funeral Service PO Box 885 Manchester VT 05255
