Bonnie Rae Wilkins, 79, a resident of Oak Knoll Road in Arlington, VT passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 11, 2026. Bonnie was born in Bennington on November 23, 1946 the daughter of the late Raymond and Virginia (Nelson) Wilkins.
Like many Arlington residents, Bonnie was a Norman Rockwell Model. She was The Little Girl in Pink on the Kellogg's Corn Flakes box. She graduated from Arlington Memorial High School, class of 1964.
Bonnie worked as a lab technician at Bennington Hospital before owning her own floral shop, Rose Petals in Arlington, where she created beautiful arrangements for many years. You may remember Bonnie as your server at local restaurants, where she most likely shared a joke or two.
Bonnie enjoyed knitting, loved cooking and sharing recipes from her favorite chef, The Pioneer Woman. As the digital world was introduced, Bonnie stayed up way too late watching YouTube & playing level after level of video games. Bonnie loved quite a variety of music, from Pentatonix, Hal Ketchum to Beyonce!
Most of all she cherished times spent with her family especially her grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by her sons Michael J. Lindsey, Jr, of North Bennington, Todd A. Lane of Arlington, William James (Jim) Lane and his wife Carrie of West Townshend, sister Donna Stone, her four grandchildren Riley, Jackson, Emma and Carly and her great grandson Stone.
Graveside funeral services will be held April 24, 2026 at 2pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Arlington VT. There are no visiting hours.
