Betty T. Whitaker

Betty T. Whitaker, 87, a resident of North Road, passed away July 6, 2024 at her home. Betty was born in Stamford, VT on October 31, 1936 the daughter of the late Wallace and Mabel Sprague Tatro and attended local schools. Betty worked as an LPN for many Bennington and Middlebury, VT nursing homes and convalescent centers. Betty enjoyed sewing, travelling with her husband, listening to country music and cherished times spent with her family. Betty is survived by her sons Bruce Whitaker (Shieley) of Arlington and Edward Whitaker (Cheryl) of West Gardener, Maine, her sister Marion Michaud (Ron) of Nashua, NH, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Whitaker and daughter Marilyn Wakefield. At the request of the family there are no formal funeral services.
