Ann Marie Towslee

Ann Marie Towslee, formerly of Harbour Road in Woodford, VT. passed away August 1. 2026 at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington.
Ann formerly lived on Convent Ave. in Bennington. She went to North Bennington School for 7th & 8th grade and graduated from Bennington High School where she was captain of the cheerleaders. Ann retired from Union Carbide after 25 years, retiring to take care of her family.
Ann enjoyed knitting, visiting the ocean and swimming. She enjoyed attending school sporting events even after her children graduated. Ann enjoyed watching girls sporting events.
Ann is survived by her children Missy Barnard (Ronnie) of Bennington, Jodi Albowitz (Ray) of Bennington, Terry Onorato of Woodford, Fred W. Towslee (Tracy) of Woodford, John Towslee (Deborah) of Bennington and Joseph Towslee (Todd) of Singer Island, Florida, grandchildren Brennon (Allicia) Barnard ,Brooke (Tyler), Annie(Colin) Connor, Che,(Casey) , Shawna and Calli, great grandchildren, Adalynn, Charlie Ann, Dack Joseph and Callen James. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Linus Towslee, Jr. whom she married in Hoosick Falls in August of 1956. The marriage was blessed at Sacred Heart Church on August 30, 195
Graveside funeral services for Ann will be held Thursday August 6, 2026 at 11am in Parklawn Cemetery in Bennington, There are no visiting hours.
