Funeral services : February 4 at 11am at the Arlington Chapel
of the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home.
Burial will take place in the spring in Scottsville Danby Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from
5-8pm when the family will be present.

    Beverly Grover

Beverly Jean Grover 78, affectionately known as “Gram” died peacefully after a short illness on February 1,2010 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born Beverly Jean Crawford on July 12, 1931 in Rutland, her parents were the late Frank A. and Marion (Archer) Crawford. For the past several years she resided with her grandson Ronald T. Crawford and his wife Donna L. Crawford and great great grandson Joey. Grams favorite pastime was spending time with her family and her pets; Sally Jane and Sheba. She enjoyed reading her Danielle Steele novels and watching her oldies on TV. She recently started attending Bennington Project Independence where she met many new friends and enjoyed going there very much with her long-time friend Connie. She will be deeply missed by all. She leaves her three children Carolyn J. Stefanick of Stamford, Linda S. Ennis of Sunderland and Douglas F. Grover Sr. of Manchester, brother Clayre Crawford of Arlington, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by her husband Carl Grover in 1987, son Steven Grover, grandson Douglas F. Grover Jr., brothers William, Vernon, Gernold and Francis Crawford, sisters Gertrude Baron, Barbara Crandall and Megan Wilkinson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 4 at 11am at the Arlington Chapel of the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home with Reverend Kathleen Clark officiating. Burial will take place in the spring in Scottsville Danby Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8pm when the family will be present.
